Free Breast Cancer Screenings in Yonkers with a Revolutionary, Radiation-Free Breast Imaging Device

Montefiore Einstein clinicians are using a revolutionary new device to provide free, painless breast cancer screenings at the Yonkers Public Library—through a partnership between Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center and the Rotary Club of The Hudson Valley. The breast examination device, iBreastExam, is FDA-approved for early detection of breast cancer lesions. The screenings are being offered Saturdays, September 10 and 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Einstein Researchers Awarded $3.5 Million NIH Grant to Study Brain Changes Caused by COVID-19

Montefiore Einstein researchers have been awarded a five-year, $3.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the effects of COVID-19 on the brains of adults who had mild or asymptomatic infection. Using neuroimaging, cognitive and immunological tests, the investigators will examine if SARS-CoV-2 infection induces lasting changes in the brain and affects neurocognitive function. Learn more >
